-- | Home bitter home

C’È SILENZIO NELLE CAMPAGNE INTORNO A BANCALI.

THERE IS SILENCE IN THE COUNTRYSIDE AROUND BANCALI. The daylight dies in the viscous blue of the evening and soon it will be replaced by a dark starry night, daughter of all the nights of Sardinia.

Despite the silence and the sense of peace, I am not quiet. My soul is not quiet. Usually when you back home you feel good, you have a feeling of safety, of glow, of wellness. To hug your parents, to meet old friends, to see again the places that have been the centre of the world when you were a child. Not this time, not anymore. I sip my Montenegro and I hope that amongst all those star there is one which can lead me to a safe port...

QUOTE OF THE DAY | A smooth sea never made a skilled mariner. English proverb
